The front section is a 7000 series aluminum, while the rear triangle is also a 7000 series. These two couple together to deliver a perfect balance of performance and compliance. The frame also sits low to the ground, giving riders optimal aerodynamics. Heart-racing power is delivered through the Spyder's premium drivetrain. At the front of the trike sits a Shimano 105 double crankset, bottom bracket, and derailleur. These premium components are all mounted to a brand-new boom design, made specifically for the Spyder. A Shimano XT derailleur connected to a 10-speed wide range cassette sits on the 700c rear wheel, and is connected via a through axle for increased rigidity. The new, innovative idler pulley improves chain engagement and power transfer, while deep profile TerraTrike rims, Schwalbe Kojak tires, and TerraTrike alloy hubs cleanly propel the trike. Feel pure comfort and control in the Spyder's new Sport Touring seat, made of a breathable mesh and an adjustable upper-back support section. The tank steering and bar-end shifters give more room and increase aerodynamics, while the Shimano Deore hydraulic brakes provide total control over the machine.
